Enada Co-E1: Testimonial Tuesday

It's Tuesday so you know what that means, Testimonial Tuesday! We would like to share another round of testimonials today, we love hearing from our customers, it makes what we do worth while! If you have been following the blog at all you have heard the amazing stories from many of our clients. If you are curious about how exactly our supplements help with the many diseases we have discussed, you can check out the facts here. Thanks again for stopping by and as always if you have a story to tell we would love to hear from ya!

"I suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome and find your tablets of great benefit."
-Paul W

"I take quite a few supplements (after carefully researching them) and I have to say this Enada NADH is one of the most amazing supplements. I didn't expect to feel any differently until after using it for a month, as described on the directions, but I felt more energetic shortly after taking it. For instance, my eyes had been feeling very tired by mid-afternoon, and this low energy disappeared the next day. I thought it was coincidence perhaps, but I haven't felt the eye fatigue since. Then, after about three weeks, I've been able to run longer and faster at the gym than I've ever been able to. I used to do just about 5 miles at the gym on good days, and just this week, I was able to run 5 1/2 miles for the first time ever. And I don't feel more tired either."
-Anonymous

"All I could find locally was from a company trying to skirt the patent issues relating to Birkmayer Labs by putting out an inferior - as in not even conforming to the original patents - but at over twice the price I found. I'm glad I came across the website and I will be ordering again before the 4 boxes I just purchased run out!
-Herb I

"ENADA provides me with a high level of sustainable energy that lasts from the time I take the supplement in the morning continuously until I fall asleep at night. And I am able to sustain this level of peak performance throughout the day without having to drink even one cup of coffee!"
-Sage R.

Fun Fact Friday! NADH Question and Answer

For our Fact Friday, we are answering more of your questions!

Q. How does my energy depend on NADH?
A. The billions of cells that form tissue and organs and ultimately the human body have an
important assignment: to produce energy. If our cells slow down or decline in their energy
production, the most visible result is that we are tired and can increasingly experience greater overall lack of energy. NADH is part of every living cell. Inside each cell a process known as the Krebs cycle combines NADH with Hydrogen to form ATP, your body’s own energy.

Q. How does the body produce energy?
A. Bringing hydrogen and oxygen together is one of the most efficient ways to produce energy. A rocket launched into outer space is an example of energy production. All cells in our bodies use the same principle of energy production, but they do so in a sophisticated way to conserve the energy produced. NADH is the biological form of hydrogen that reacts with the oxygen we breathe in to form energy and water. The energy‐ producing process in cells is achieved by a cascade of reactions, which lead to the formation of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy‐containing compound in cells. One molecule of NADH will form three times the amount of ATP. Therefore, NADH is an extremely efficient and effective energy producer.

Q. How does the body store energy?
A. Living cells have the capability to store energy in the form of chemical compounds. When these compounds are metabolized, energy is released and used for all cellular processes. Only a few biological substances display all the features of energy‐rich compounds. The most important of these are adenosine triphosphate (ATP), creatine phosphate (CP), nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride (NADH), and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate hydride (NADPH).

Q. How does NADH help my body?
A. NADH has energy stored in its chemical structure. When it is absorbed and taken up by the body cells, NADH produces energy. NADH can be compared to a turbine in an electric power plant. Water at a higher level has more energy than water at a lower level. If you insert a turbine (wheel) in this waterfall, you can produce electrical energy. Hence, the more NADH a cell has available, the more energy can be produced. The amount of NADH a cell contains depends on the amount of energy the cell requires. Heart muscle cells have the highest NADH content because the heart is the organ that needs the most energy in the body. Cells in the brain and muscles contain 60 percent of the NADH content of those in the heart

Q. Does NADH enhance the immune system?
A. Yes, it does. NADH is directly involved in the cellular immune defense system. Special white blood cells, called macrophages, are responsible for direct elimination of foreign bodies such as bacteria, viruses, and molds. They literally capture these foreign bodies and then degrade and eliminate them. During this process, a markedly increased metabolic activity including oxygen consumption takes place. Most of the oxygen is converted to superoxide and hydrogen peroxide, which are able to destroy viruses or bacteria. This phenomenon is known as "metabolic burst" and appears to be the first and most critical step leading to the destruction of the foreign invader. Large amounts of NADH are required for this process. Hence, the more NADH your body has available, the more protection your immune system can provide.

NADH and Natural Relief for Sore Muscles

We have talked about how NADH has helped athletes be faster, stronger, better, improve times and results during workouts. NADH supplements also provide faster recovery. Mojo, is here to help you through your workouts, and here are some other remedies to help you feel better after.
If you are just starting a new exercise program, or just changing up your current gym routine, having muscle soreness is inevitable. While over-the-counter pain relievers are effective, they can be hard on your body over time and you may prefer using a natural form of pain relief. While some natural pain relievers are well known, here are some that aren't quite as well known.
Epsom Salt
Epsom salt, is a natural muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory. Add a cup or two of Epsom salt to a hot bath and soak for as long as possible. Daily soaking baths help shorten healing time so pain ends sooner, Epson salt is also good for achieving soft skin.
Herbs
Herbs such as peppermint, cayenne and ginger are ingredients often found in pain-relieving creams. These herbs have anti-inflammatory properties and ease pain while. They also have a warming property to them that loosen tight muscles. Be careful when applying herbs with this warming property, application in sensitive areas can cause burning sensation.
Movement

If you're stiff and sore, don't stop moving! If you spend the day you are sore not moving around you will only become more stiff. Get moving, do some gentle stretching and go for a walk. If your muslces are tensed up and allowed to not have to stretch out it will just stay tensed up.

Lavender Oil
Lavender is a popular remedy for muscle pain relief. It has been used as a massage oil for thousands of years. Its cell regenerating and anti-inflammatory properties are well-documented, and it can be applied to the skin undiluted, unlike many essential oils. Its fragrance is well-known for its relaxation and sleep-inducing properties.

Fact Friday! Enada: The Only Brand with Stabilized NADH

Welcome to another Fact Friday! Let's spend this Fact Friday getting to know why ENADA is the right choice fro your NADH supplement needs.

After 20 years we here at ENADA carry the world’s first and only form of NADH that is food grade, stabilized and protected by world patents! Food grade means its is the only NADH supplements that is considered safe for use in food by the Food and Drug Administration.

Other companies continue to try to bypass these patents and introduce false NADH products. However un-stabilized NADH degrades rapidly under the influence of light, humidity, temperature, and other factors. When these other products are subjected to independent laboratory analysis, the majority of these products do not meet label claims of NADH content. This deceives consumers and leaves the impression that NADH is ineffective. If a NADH product is not stabilized, you are wasting your time and money. NADH was discovered in 1905 and Dr. Birkmayer spent a lifetime overcoming the stabilization obstacles and released his research and formula exclusively with the Enada brand of NADH which has been used in most studies involving NADH over the past 20 years.

Benefits of stabilized NADH Include:·         Natural and non-stimulant energy provider (no jitteriness)
·         Staying on task after sleep deprivation
·         Helps with Travel fatigue and Jet Lag
·         Improves Cognitive Performance
·         Relieves Drowsiness
·         Relief from many disease
·         Improves Stamina
·         So much more!

After 20 years stabilized Enada has an overwhelming amount of feedback and testimonials. These testimonials are listed on the blog HERE and website here: http://enadh.com/category/testimonials/ as well as a review section on each of the products on the retail website www.co-e1.com/shop

NADH Natural Energy Health Tip: Asparagus

Asparagus is nutrient rich, low in calories and a good source of dietary fiber, not to mention it is so good tasting! These things make asparagus for weight loss a good choice. Any weight loss program should include the addition of dietary fiber as it helps to reduce food intake by creating a sense of fullness and stabilizing blood sugar.

Asparagus contains asparigine, a natural diuretic that helps to remove waste and excess fluids from the body, preventing water weight gain, and contributing to the breakdown of fat in the body.

  • Asparagus also has a carbohydrate called inulin that stimulates healthy bacteria inside the large intestine, and healthy bacteria helps with digestion.

  • Asparagus is a good source of vitamin A which aids in promoting healthy eyes and clear vision.

  • It contains compounds that will help to keep your heart healthy.

  • This green veggie is full of folate and energizing B vitamins.

  • Other nutriends in asparagus include, vitamin C, K manganese, and iron.

  • Asparagus is full of fiber to help aid in promoting healthy digestion.

  • Asparagus boots immunity.

Energy Boosting Flavored Water

It is time to talk about our latest obsession: natural flavored water. Now we don't feel the need to lecture about how bad sports drinks, soda, and other "fruit" juices are, there are enough articles on the internet that can explain the dangers for you. We just want to highlight the joys and benefits that come with making your favorite flavored water at home.

We have a Brita Water Filter Pitcher because the water from the tap, at least here in California, is not great.
No point in adding to all the water bottle pile up,the Brita Water Filter Pitcher works well and makes the water have a nice crisp flavor.

Flavored water can be subtle or packed with the flavors infused into it. It all depends on what you want to use and how long you let it sit or seep.

What is needed:

Fruit: whatever kind you like (except bananas, too mushy). Make sure it's good and ripe for maximum sweetness and flavor, especially if using berries. The most popular flavored waters use citrus.
Fresh vs. frozen fruit. When in season, use fresh fruit. If out of season, use frozen, frozen is picked at the peak of ripeness.

Herbs: Many herbs are a surprising complement to fruit flavors. Mint, basil, rosemary, sage, thyme, lavender, and tarragon.

Something to put it in: We use mason jars, the larger the better, primarily because they look nicer and keep it colder, but any 2 quart pitcher will do.

Amazing photo credit goes to: The Yummy Life
Here are some amazing pictures from a fellow flavored water enthusiast over at The Yummy Life blog.

Here are some of our favorite combinations!

Raspberry Lime: Start with 2 limes; with your hands, squeeze the juice into the jar, then throw in the squeezed lime quarters. Add how ever many raspberries you would like. Take a spoon, preferably wood, and press the ingredients down to release some of the juices (don't pulverize the fruit). Fill the jar with ice, then add water to the top. Stir, cover, and refrigerate.

Tip: You can also add mint leaves to this one for an extra flavor.

Mint, Cucumber, Lime: slice up 1/2 a cucumber, 1/2 a lime squeeze the juice into the jar, then throw in the squeezed lime quarters,1/4 cup fresh mint leaves. Take a spoon, preferably wood, and press the ingredients down to release some of the juices (don't pulverize the fruit). Fill the jar with ice, then add water to the top. Stir, cover, and refrigerate.

Strawberry, Lemon Baisl: 1/2 cup sliced strawberries, 1/2 a lemon, sliced, 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves. Take a spoon, preferably wood, and press the ingredients down to release some of the juices (don't pulverize the fruit). Fill the jar with ice, then add water to the top. Stir, cover, and refrigerate.

Watermelon Mint: 1 cup cubed watermelon, 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves.
Take a spoon, preferably wood, and press the ingredients down to release some of the juices (don't pulverize the fruit). Fill the jar with ice, then add water to the top. Stir, cover, and refrigerate.

Health Tip! Mint: Mint leaves are loaded with antioxidants and keep stomach cramps and acidity at bay. They have anti-inflammatory properties, and mint juice acts as an excellent skin cleanser.

Fun Fact Friday! NADH and Fibromyalgia

    http://painbehindkneecure.com/9-most-common-fibromyalgia-myths/

NADH stands for "nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) + hydrogen (H)." This chemical occurs naturally in the body and plays a role in the chemical process that generates energy.

NADH sets off a chemical chain reaction. Every molecule of NADH results in the production of three molecules of ATP energy. Without NADH, the mitochondria cannot produce energy and the cells will die.

Fibromyalgia is a common syndrome in which a person has long-term, body-wide pain and tenderness in the joints, muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues. Fibromyalgia has also been linked to fatigue, sleep problems, headaches, depression, and anxiety.
Oral NADH supplementation have been used to combat simple fatigue as well as such this mysterious and energy-sapping disorder.

Let it Go. Giving the Gift of Peace.

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/116666834@N07/12409016134/

The owner of our company came in this morning and declared that today is to be the day that we let go. The day we forgive and forget. Today is the day we choose to be stronger than the "drama" in our lives and choose to make life better.

He wrote on our whiteboard this quote:

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”
    Mahatma Gandhi

He is a very health conscience and passionate man. So I couldn't help but use his passion and determination as inspiration for today's post. I mean it was literally the first thing he declared when he passed my office this morning. Our business mission is to develop and market safe, reliable, effective products, which will improve the quality of life for all people, our wish goes beyond our supplements and we dream of a world with overall happiness and wellness.
I think that we all can think of someone that has wronged us and it isn't easy to carry anger and hurt. To completely let go of something painful and forgive the person who may or may not have realized what they did is a hard thing to do. It is easy at times to be convinced that the person who hurt did it with full intention and cruelty. Feeling no compassion; just unadulterated pain and rage.
This is usually not the case however. Generally no one is purely bad, and everyone carries pain that influences their decisions. This doesn't condone their thoughtless, insensitive, or selfish decisions, but it makes them easier to understand. After all, we've all been thoughtless, insensitive, and selfish at times. Usually, we have good intentions. After doing research we have come up with ways to let go and reasons to forgive, to forget, and to heal.

    Time

We have all heard it but it is the truth. If you can't move on right now don't beat yourself up. You do not want to keep thinking of the past. If you don’t feel forgiving, you can at least not act on anger and count that as a triumph. Remember that we are all doing the best we can at the time. Don’t force it. Yes, by all means set goals and take steps in the right direction, but don’t disregard the baby steps, these steps are your life’s story. Let go of all the needless trying and let yourself take these steps peacefully and mindfully. When you let go of it, you get over the anger/bitterness that you felt and it clears the path for forgiveness. Eventually forgiveness will come if you welcome it.

    Get it Out

Write a brutally honest, emotionally raw letter telling them how much they have hurt and angered you. Or write about everything that is bothering you and how you feel at the time. Then read it, hopefully it will bring out some emotion and can help you sort your feelings. Then tear it up, think about the fact that you are not that hurt and that anger. It is fleeting, just like everything else. Let the letter carrying your hurt and disappointment disappears into the air, you can let it go.
Hopefully you will come to the realization that no one ever gets to the end of their life and thinks, “I wish I stayed angry longer.”

    Be a little Selfish

Remind yourself to forgive not for them but for you and that it’s easier to forgive than to hang on to so much anger, hurt and betrayal. If you have done all you can do and they choose to still be hateful or hurtful, just do what you need to do and forget about them. Remember you. Working on a better you is more fulfilling than hanging on. Let it all go and hold on to your growth and kindness instead. If you train yourself to consistently be more loving in thoughts and actions, your positive energy will attract more positive results into your current reality.
Be unlike the person or situation that hurt you. Let go and grow past your pain. Carry on living well in a way that creates peace in your heart. The energy you would spend reliving a situation can be better spent creating an amazing future for yourself.

Don't be so hard on yourself
Let go of the need to forgive every mistake."Mistakes are the growing pains of wisdom." We all make mistakes, they just need to be accepted, not forgiven. There is an obvious shift in your heart and mind that happens when you go from feeling hurt and upset to peaceful and loving, but it’s not necessarily forgiveness that’s taking place, it’s just the realization that there was nothing to forgive in the first place. Perfection doesn't exist. Forgiveness is oftentimes the simple realization that there is nothing that actually needs to be forgiven.

    Fact Friday! NADH Why?

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/upholds/991317849/

If you could take a natural substance that occurs in every single cell to increase your overall energy, would you?

If you could take a natural substance that boosts the immune system and protects your cells from damage, would you?

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/anvrecife/4397048396/

If you could take a natural substance that enhances your cognitive capability and improve your memory, would you?

Good news: you can. There is a natural biological substance that offers these benefits and many more. This substance is NADH, the abbreviation for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide with high‐energy hydrogen. NADH is also known as coenzyme 1, scientific research and physicians’ experience shows that it has a profoundly important effect to keep you healthy and energetic.

So what exactly is NADH? It is a naturally‐occurring and vital compound found in ALL living cells of plants, animals, and humans. It is essential for adequate energy, and supplementation can improve energy levels. The human body carries on many important functions or activities at the same time.

All of these activities require cellular energy production. The memory, immune system, and even the DNA repair system are dependent on the proper production of cellular energy. NADH has also been proven to increase energy, as well as act as an anti-aging nutrient, enhances memory, is the body’s top antioxidant, and can help with specific diseases such as Parkinson’s, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), depression, and Alzheimer’s disease.

ENADA is the only brand of NADH currently available that is stabilized and is actually protected by several worldwide patents. Competitors continue to try to bypass these patents and introduce NADH products. However, all these products are non‐stabilized forms of NADH. When subjected to independent laboratory analysis and validation, the majority of these products do not contain any NADH. The result of the absence of NADH in these products hurts consumers and leaves the impression that NADH is ineffective. Remember, if an NADH product isn’t stabilized, you’re wasting more so for their health ailments, such as Alzheimer’s disease or chronic fatigue syndrome, than for energy boosts.

For those customers who desire immediate effects, we have recently added another supplement to our collection. ENADA MOJO is fast‐acting and designed for demanding and active lifestyles. It has been carefully crafted without the enteric coating of the other ENADA pill, thus can be taken at any time, regardless of when you last ate. Also ENADA MOJO comes in 10mg and 20mg doses, so you can tackle that last mile or extra work hours with energy and integrity.
So now you’re probably wondering which supplement is right for you. Well, it depends on what
results you are looking for. If you have an active, busy lifestyle and require more energy in less
time, then the MOJO tablets are most likely best for you. The 10mg tablets are for people who desire quick energy, but aren’t doing anything extreme, such as intense physical exertion. These are best for the everyday person with everyday tasks at hand. The 20mg tablets are for those that exert a lot of physical effort or are in need of constant energy throughout the day. This may be a triathlete before and during his or her race, or an executive with days constantly full of meetings and negotiations. Simply put, the 20mg is just a more intense than the 10mg, so based on the amount of energy you need, you can decide which supplement is right for you.

If you are taking ENADA supplements for health purposes, the 5mg tablets are for you. These ones are taken daily, in the morning, and have a slower effect as they are dissolved in the lower intestine. The dosage is perfect to fight off ailments from such diseases as Parkinson’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, and Alzheimer’s

    Sleepy Times

We have been told since we were children that we need to get our sleep, but just how important is sleeping for our health?

A recent survey found that more people are sleeping less than six hours a night, and sleep difficulties visit 75% of us at least a few nights per week. A short-lived bout of insomnia is generally nothing to worry about. The bigger concern is chronic sleep loss, which can contribute to health problems such as weight gain, high blood pressure, and a decrease in the immune system.Sleep makes you feel better, but its importance goes way beyond just boosting your mood or banishing under-eye circles. Here are some reasons why you should be catching those Zzz's!

    1. Learning and memory:
Sleep helps the brain commit new information to memory through a process called memory consolidation. In studies, people who’d slept after learning a task did better on tests later.

    2. Cardiovascular health:
Serious sleep disorders have been linked to hypertension, increased stress hormone levels, and irregular heartbeat.

    Disease:
Sleep deprivation alters immune function, including the activity of the body’s killer cells. Keeping up with sleep may also help fight cancer

    3. Steer clear of depression:
A lack of sleep can contribute to depression. A good night’s sleep can really help a moody person decrease their anxiety. You get more emotional stability with good sleep. If you think the long hours put in during the week are the cause of your anxiety or impatience, sleep cannot necessarily be made up during the weekend. It’s all about finding a balance. Sleep loss may result in irritability, impatience, inability to concentrate, and moodiness. Too little sleep can also leave you too tired to do the things you like to do.

    4. Lower stress:
When it comes to our health stress and sleep are nearly one and the same, and both can affect cardiovascular health. Sleep can definitely reduce levels of stress, and with that people can have better control of their blood pressure. It’s also believed that sleep effects cholesterol levels, which plays a significant role in heart disease.

    5. Have a healthy weight:
If you are thinking about going on a diet, you might want to plan an earlier bedtime too. Researchers at the University of Chicago found that dieters who were well rested lost more fat, 56% of their weight loss—than those who were sleep deprived, who lost more muscle mass. (They shed similar amounts of total weight regardless of sleep.) Dieters in the study also felt more hungry when they got less sleep.

Sleep and metabolism are controlled by the same sectors of the brain. When you are sleepy, certain hormones go up in your blood, and those same hormones drive appetite.

A good night’s sleep will make us feel more active and alert on the following day. Energy levels after a good sleep are higher, your mental awareness is more acute and you are more likely to smile more. A restful sleep session not only feels great, but it increases our chances for another good night’s sleep next time we go to bed.
