Enada NADH: Beat the Heat

The weather you are experiencing this time of year greatly depends on the region you live in. We are based out of California, and if you have been watching the news you will know we are in the midst of a heat wave. The first day of Summer isn't until the third week of June each year, but this year you didn't have to wait until then to start feeling the heat. There are wild fires popping up right and left and constant worry combined with the heat can be detrimental for your body. We want to make sure everyone is taking care of them selves and beating the heat. Heat exhaustion come on quickly. It is important to make sure you are getting proper hydration and nutrition. When your body has enough water, minerals, and antioxidants you’ll function better, think faster and stay healthier. Follow these tips to help you stay hydrated during these heat waves, or save the tips for when we get further into the summer months.
Get Energy
Being in the heat takes so much more out a person no matter what they are doing. Supplements the NADH you are losing doing every day tasks. NADH is biological “Rocket Fuel”. It is the biological form of hydrogen which reacts with the oxygen present in our cells to produce energy, enhance mood and emotional balance, and offset fatigue. Enada is the only company that has FDA approved stabilized NADH supplements.
Hydration Done Right
  • Although soda, coffee and iced tea may temporarily quench your need for a drink, the sugar and caffeine in these beverages will soak up your body's water reserves. That means that if you drink nothing but coffee or soda, you’ll end up less hydrated than you think. The best thing you can do for your body is to drink as much clean, pure water as possible. Water is one of the healthiest beverages you can drink, especially in the summertime. If you want to stay hydrated, try to get into good habits like:
  • If you must drink soda, follow any soda or juice drink with a glass of water
  • Limit highly caffeinated beverages
  • Carrying a water bottle with you

Watch Your Sweating
If you find yourself really sweating and losing more water than the norm, your body also needs a steady supply of electrolytes. Electrolytes are minerals that your body uses to normalize pH balance and send signals that regulate your body’s physical activity. Electrolytes can be found in most sports drinks, but they also naturally occur in most fruits and vegetables.
Easy Breezy
Make sure to take the lead of those who spend most of their lives in tropical climates and make outfit choices accordingly. You can really bead the heat by wearing loose, lightweight cotton and linen clothing. Pick clothes that breath and wont hold in the heat.
Hit the Showers
A really easy trick to beating the heat is to jump in the shower to regulate your body temperature. Before you try to go to sleep or if you just can't stand how hot you feel jump in the shower and take a cold one. The cold water hitting your chest etc. will bring down your core temperature.

    ENADA NADH: Fact Friday Anti-Aging

Hello! Time for another round of Fun Fact Friday! Today's fact comes from our recent NADH study on the anti-aging benefits of taking NADH supplements.

A common question we get is can NADH be considered an anti-aging nutrient?

From our studies we can say: Yes, NADH has significant anti‐aging potential. As we age, the NADH and energy levels in our cells decrease. In other words, aging is loss of energy. When cellular energy declines below a certain threshold, cells in our bodies begin to slowly deteriorate and tissue begins to degenerate. This energy loss can also signal the beginning of more serious illnesses later in life.

There is growing evidence that a lack of cellular energy may accelerate the aging process, ultimately resulting in degeneration of the organism. Conversely, if the cell is producing adequate energy, it can continue to perform all of its processes more efficiently. The more NADH a cell has available, the more energy it will produce and the longer it will continue to properly function. NADH's further anti‐aging potential is derived from the fact that NADH is one of the strongest, most powerful biological antioxidants and, therefore, helps protect cells from damaging agents and free radicals that can age the body.

The health implications are immense - if cells live longer, then organs live longer, hence NADH has a scientifically proven anti-aging effect!

    Enada Co-E1: Testimonial Tuesday

It's Tuesday so you know what that means, Testimonial Tuesday! We would like to share another round of testimonials today, we love hearing from our customers, it makes what we do worth while! If you have been following the blog at all you have heard the amazing stories from many of our clients. If you are curious about how exactly our supplements help with the many diseases we have discussed, you can check out the facts here. Thanks again for stopping by and as always if you have a story to tell we would love to hear from ya!

"I suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome and find your tablets of great benefit."
    -Paul W

"I take quite a few supplements (after carefully researching them) and I have to say this Enada NADH is one of the most amazing supplements. I didn't expect to feel any differently until after using it for a month, as described on the directions, but I felt more energetic shortly after taking it. For instance, my eyes had been feeling very tired by mid-afternoon, and this low energy disappeared the next day. I thought it was coincidence perhaps, but I haven't felt the eye fatigue since. Then, after about three weeks, I've been able to run longer and faster at the gym than I've ever been able to. I used to do just about 5 miles at the gym on good days, and just this week, I was able to run 5 1/2 miles for the first time ever. And I don't feel more tired either."
    -Anonymous

"All I could find locally was from a company trying to skirt the patent issues relating to Birkmayer Labs by putting out an inferior - as in not even conforming to the original patents - but at over twice the price I found. I'm glad I came across the website and I will be ordering again before the 4 boxes I just purchased run out!
    -Herb I

"ENADA provides me with a high level of sustainable energy that lasts from the time I take the supplement in the morning continuously until I fall asleep at night. And I am able to sustain this level of peak performance throughout the day without having to drink even one cup of coffee!"
    -Sage R.

Co-E1 Enada NADH: Cinco De Mayo Health Tip!

Cinco de Mayo, for those who may not know means the fifth of May, also known as the Anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, national holiday in Mexico in honor of a military victory in 1862 over the French forces of Napoleon III. Cinco de Mayo today has become a day to throw a party and have a little too much to eat and drink, but did you know these facts about today:
    • The holiday celebrates an unexpected victory. The holiday actually celebrates the Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The Mexican army won the battle despite being smaller and ill-equipped.
    • Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day. That occurred 50 years prior to the Battle of Puebla. It is celebrated on September 16.
    • Cinco de Mayo is a bigger deal in the United States. In Mexico, the day is observed with political speeches and battle reenactments. Many of the actual celebration and battle re-enactment take place in Puebla.
    • In fact, the world's largest Cinco celebration takes place in Los Angeles. This year's Festival de Fiesta Broadway is expected to draw 300,000 people. Cities like New York City, Denver and Houston also throw large parties in honor of the day.
Celebrations in the United States often extend beyond the actual day to encompass an entire week, with parades and festivals that include music, dancing, and food. If you are a fan of Cinco de Mayo and want to celebrate but don't want to blow your diet, here are some fit health tips on how to skip calories but not flavor!

    Skip lettuce go with cabbage!
Cabbage is a more nutritious taco topping than lettuce. Cabbage is filled with antioxidants and is an excellent source of vitamin C, providing roughly one-third of your recommended daily intake in just one cup. A cup of iceberg lettuce, by contrast, provides only about 3 percent of your daily dose.

As an added bonus, cabbage packs a crunchy bite and comes in a variety of colors, ranging from bright purple to green, that look great on your plate.

Skip the ground beef, go with fish
Fish is a leaner protein and full of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids and is lower in calories than ground beef. Swapping beef for fish also cuts down on dietary cholesterol.

Skip store bought, go with homemade
Yes, making guacamole in your own kitchen takes time, but store-bought varieties are often loaded with preservatives and firming agents, like sodium benzoate and calcium chloride.

Some mass-produced guacamoles also are surprisingly high in sodium. For example, Trader

Joe's Reduced Guilt Chunky Guacamole contains no fewer than 280 milligrams (or 12 percent of your daily limit) per two-tablespoon serving.

Mass-produced salsas typically contain processed ingredients (such as tomato paste and dehydrated onions), but the real health downer is the sodium. Just two tablespoons of Tostitos Chunky Salsa, for instance, contains 250 milligrams of sodium, about 10 percent of your daily limit. And who stops at just two tablespoons?

Pico de gallo (also known as salsa fresca), an easy-to-make mixture of minced vegetables and chiles, offers a similar kick of flavor and spice, but with roughly one-fifth the sodium.

Skip re-fried, go with whole beans
Beans are loaded with filling fiber, but they can add sodium and fat when re-fried and packaged in can. Choose whole bean, non-refried, or low-fat canned varieties when you are looking for convenience, or buy dry beans if you have time to make them from scratch.

    Co-E1 Enada: Fact Friday!

We get a lot of questions about how our NADH supplements help with the major diseases . We wanted to address and discuss why and how NADH helps with curing and preventing these diseases.

    Q. Can NADH enhance a person’s memory?

    A. Yes, it can. Memory is not a single function; rather, it's composed of a system of multiple processes. Memory can be defined as the storage of information, signals, and stimuli received by our five senses and the retrieval of this stored information. The major prerequisite for memory is cognition. Cognition is the process of receiving signals from outside the body. This is triggered by a chemical reaction in the cells of the central nervous system, and certain molecules induce information from one form to the other. These neurotransmitters are responsible for vegetative as well as cognitive performance. The best known neurotransmitters are adrenaline, its precursor noradrenaline, dopamine, and serotonin. With an increase in the production of these neurotransmitters, cognitive performance will improve. Several studies have shown that dopamine and adrenaline production are naturally increased by NADH. Therefore, NADH can effectively enhance memory.

    Q. How can NADH help ?

    A. NADH has been found to dramatically help the symptoms progressive neurological disorder that affects about one million people in the United States, most of who are over the age of fifty. The age‐specific incidence peaks at about age seventy and then declines. Men and women are equally affected, but African‐Americans and Asians are less likely than caucasians to develop problems. The symptoms  are caused by a deficit in one of the most important messenger substances of the central nervous system, dopamine. This neurotransmitter is responsible for muscle tone and strength, upright position, libido, and emotional drive. This dopamine deficiency is reflected by akinesia (inability to move), rigidity (stiffness), and tremors (shaking). These symptoms should not be ignored.
It has been shown in a number of studies that NADH is able to stimulate the production of dopamine naturally.

Enada NADH Tip: Olive Oil for Around the House

Lets talk about one of our favorite all natural oils: Olive Oil. We all know that olive oil is great to cook with but did you know that it has many other around the house and beauty uses! Here 4 other great ways to use olive oil!

    Removing Stickers
Paper stickers can be a real pain, and they can leave a sticky residue on a variety of surfaces, especially glass. Dab a bit of olive oil onto the residue and give it a rub with a soft cloth. No more residue.

    Un-sticking a Zipper
If you've ever tried to un-stick a zipper, you know how tough it can be. Olive oil can be applied to a cotton ball and dabbed on a zipper to help loosen the mechanism. It doesn't take much to work, but it is effective. Just be careful not to get the oil on your clothes.

    Hair Conditioner
Is your hair as dry and brittle as sagebrush in the desert? Put the moisture back into it by heating 1/2 cup olive oil (don’t boil it), and then liberally applying it to your hair. Cover your hair with a plastic grocery bag, then wrap it in a towel. Let it set for 45 minutes, then shampoo and thoroughly rinse.

    Hand Moisturizer
A big bottle of olive oil is a lot cheaper than designer hand lotion, but it turns out it can be equally as effective. The best time to use olive oil as a hand moisturizer is at night since it will stay on your skin for a while before it fully dries. Wear soft gloves to bed for amazingly smooth hands in the morning.

Enada NADH: Burn Calories and Get things done!

We all have things that we need to get done but can't stand doing, but maybe knowing that you can count everyday household chores as a workout you might think twice. Vacuuming, dusting, cooking, washing windows, these all add up to calorie burners. So take your daily dose of NADH energy booster and get to working!

    Sweeping or Mopping
Sweeping or mopping requires some physical effort, can help you burn a fair amount of calories as well. While sweeping and mopping, you’ll likely burn between 200 and 300 calories and get a pretty good upper and lower body workout at the same time. Sweeping your floors before you mop will burn even more calories.

    Dusting
Dust accumulates in everybody’s home and if you’re like most; you probably don’t dust more than once a week. However, dusting a little more often won’t just be good for your health, it will also be good for your waistline. Depending on your weight, you could burn anywhere from 200 to 400 calories per hour while dusting. If you spend just one hour dusting, twice a week, your house is going to be pretty clean and your waistline, trimmer.

    Mowing the lawn
Use a manual or push mower for maximum calorie burn. Expect to burn about 325 calories per hour.

    Cooking
You can actually burn several hundred calories during the process of cooking a meal. Putting a frozen dinner in the microwave doesn’t count – but, even preparing a simple meal that takes an hour of preparation can help you burn approximately 200 calories.

    Washing Your Windows
Window washing is a good exercise for your upper body and core muscles since you’ll likely be reaching and stretching with your arms in an upward motion to clean the tops of windows. Spending only half an hour window washing could easily burn 200 calories, depending on your weight.

    Gardening
Working in your vegetable and flower garden will help you burn about 250 calories per hour. Enjoy the added bonus of fresh vegetables from your garden, which will benefit your wallet and your waistline.

Happy Tuesday! We hope you are having a great week already. Every Tuesday we share letters and notes we get from our fantastic customers about the benefits and results they are receiving from taking our NADH supplements! This week we thought we would just share a few short but sweets.

"This product is great! Within two days I could tell a huge difference in the amount of energy that I had, along with the ability to focus more clearly. I'm glad that I ordered two boxes, and when I'm down to one I will be ordering another. Thanks for giving me my energy back!"
    -Karen W

"Great product it seems to help brain fog and overall energy. I am taking this product with the Fatigued to Fantastic Energy Revitalization System so it is difficult to tell how much this product is contributing to my new found energy. I do like these sublingual lozenges better than the pills because I can take them anytime and don't have to worry about when I will be eating."
    -Wisconsin

"I take one of these in the morning before exercising and I find that I have a ton of energy for working out. I sometimes take one later in the day so I can skip the caffeine. Highly recommended!"
    -Anonymous

    Enada NADH: Natural Allergy Cures

Spring time is the best! It is when everything wakes up and starts blooming after the long dead winter. It is simply beautiful, but anyone who suffers from seasonal allergies knows that springtime can be both a blessing and a curse. The rising pollen counts herald unpleasant reactions such as congestion, itchy eyes, sneezing and headaches. Many seek limited relief from over the counter allergy preparations that have unwanted and unnecessary side effects, more natural remedies may alleviate symptoms without the unpleasant side effects.

While allergies can range from mild to severe, there are some supplements that can offer sufferers relief.

    Butterbur

The herb appears to work as an inflammation inhibitor, which blocks some chemicals that trigger swelling in the nasal passages.

Some research shows that an extract of butterbur root (Ze 339) are just as effective at relieving nasal symptoms as antihistamines like Zyrtec and Allegra. Butterbur has the advantage of not causing sleepiness, a common side effect of antihistamines.

You should not eat raw, unprocessed butterbur root. Look for brands of specialized butterbur supplements that are labeled UPA-free; a certain percentage or milligrams of the helpful compound petasin may also be mentioned. Keep in mind that experts aren’t sure about the safety of using any butterbur supplements in the long term.

    Phleum pratense
A few studies have found that a sublingual tablet made from pollen extracts from Phleum Phleum pratense can reduce some pollen allergy symptoms, such as eye irritation, in people with asthma, as well as help decrease symptoms in people suffering from hay fever. It also allowed people to reduce the dose of their allergy medicine.

    Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a natural antihistamine, helping to reduce nasal secretions and inflammation.

Luckily, this vitamin and the flavonoids occur together in many foods, such as berries, plums, citrus fruits, peppers and brcocoli. Another option is to take extra vitamin C supplements during allergy flair-ups.

    Echinacea and Goldenseal
An Echinacea and Goldenseal combination may help keep allergies in check. Echinacea is anti-viral; Goldenseal is anti-bacterial and soothes the mucous membranes.

Both herbs help to support immune response, which often becomes compromised due long-standing allergies. An Echinacea and Goldenseal combination may also be effective for treating, as well as preventing sinusitis.

Fun Fact Friday! NADH Question and Answer

For our Fact Friday, we are answering more of your questions!

    Q. How does my energy depend on NADH?
    A. The billions of cells that form tissue and organs and ultimately the human body have an
important assignment: to produce energy. If our cells slow down or decline in their energy
production, the most visible result is that we are tired and can increasingly experience greater overall lack of energy. NADH is part of every living cell. Inside each cell a process known as the Krebs cycle combines NADH with Hydrogen to form ATP, your body’s own energy.

    Q. How does the body produce energy?
    A. Bringing hydrogen and oxygen together is one of the most efficient ways to produce energy. A rocket launched into outer space is an example of energy production. All cells in our bodies use the same principle of energy production, but they do so in a sophisticated way to conserve the energy produced. NADH is the biological form of hydrogen that reacts with the oxygen we breathe in to form energy and water. The energy‐ producing process in cells is achieved by a cascade of reactions, which lead to the formation of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy‐containing compound in cells. One molecule of NADH will form three times the amount of ATP. Therefore, NADH is an extremely efficient and effective energy producer.

    Q. How does the body store energy?
    A. Living cells have the capability to store energy in the form of chemical compounds. When these compounds are metabolized, energy is released and used for all cellular processes. Only a few biological substances display all the features of energy‐rich compounds. The most important of these are adenosine triphosphate (ATP), creatine phosphate (CP), nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride (NADH), and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate hydride (NADPH).

    Q. How does NADH help my body?
    A. NADH has energy stored in its chemical structure. When it is absorbed and taken up by the body cells, NADH produces energy. NADH can be compared to a turbine in an electric power plant. Water at a higher level has more energy than water at a lower level. If you insert a turbine (wheel) in this waterfall, you can produce electrical energy. Hence, the more NADH a cell has available, the more energy can be produced. The amount of NADH a cell contains depends on the amount of energy the cell requires. Heart muscle cells have the highest NADH content because the heart is the organ that needs the most energy in the body. Cells in the brain and muscles contain 60 percent of the NADH content of those in the heart

    Q. Does NADH enhance the immune system?
    A. Yes, it does. NADH is directly involved in the cellular immune defense system. Special white blood cells, called macrophages, are responsible for direct elimination of foreign bodies such as bacteria, viruses, and molds. They literally capture these foreign bodies and then degrade and eliminate them. During this process, a markedly increased metabolic activity including oxygen consumption takes place. Most of the oxygen is converted to superoxide and hydrogen peroxide, which are able to destroy viruses or bacteria. This phenomenon is known as "metabolic burst" and appears to be the first and most critical step leading to the destruction of the foreign invader. Large amounts of NADH are required for this process. Hence, the more NADH your body has available, the more protection your immune system can provide.
