Let’s Get Ready to Rumble: Comparing Nutritional Supplements to Enada Co-E1

There are a lot of supplements on the market today. When it comes to comparing which ones are the best, it’s not easy to do. Check out this comparison of a few supplements and Enada Co-E1 for treating memory loss, improving athletic performance and reducing symptoms of jet lag.
Supplements That Help Increase Memory: Gingko Bilbao vs Enada Co-E1
Gingko Bilbao
Gingko is a Chinese herbal medicine which comes from the dried leaves of the maidenhair tree. It is made up of flavonoids and terpenoids, which are chemical compounds. Many people believe this supplement will sharpen their concentration and memory. Earlier studies had shown there was a correlation between taking Gingko and improving cognition, but recently those studies have been debunked and now it’s widely believed that Gingko doesn’t help improve memory and concentration.
Enada Co-E1
Enada Co-E1 increases the energy production inside the cells of your body. With increased energy, your cells can relay information to each other quickly. Several studies have shown that the production of adrenaline and dopamine, which are neurotransmitters, are increased within the cells. These neurotransmitters are responsible for cognitive performance, improving memory and cognition.
Supplements That Enhance Athletic Performance: Carnitine vs Enada Co-E1
Carnitine
Carnitine is an antioxidant found in meat and other types of food. People who are healthy don’t have to consume carnitine because their body naturally produces it. Carnitine helps produce energy in the cell’s mitochondria, and in our muscles. Since carnitine is used for energy production within the muscles, it was theorized that it could help improve muscle function, reduce fatigue and boost performance. After 20 years of testing, it has shown that it has no effect on athletic performance.
Enada Co-E1
Enada Co-E1 is the bio-available, antioxidant form of Vitamin B-3. Known as the biological rocket fuel, Enada Co-E1 is essential to the production of cellular energy. It is also involved in basic metabolism processes (which include the breakdown of glucose and fats), and supplies energy to the brain, nerves, muscles, heart and all other organs, helping them to function. For this reason, Enada Co-E1 boosts stamina and endurance, while providing mental clarity and focus. It also helps alleviate drowsiness and increases energy. Enada Co-E1 has been back by studies and been proven to help boost athletic performance.

“The Cure” for Jet Lag: Melatonin vs. Enada Co-E1
Jet Lag
 Melatonin
Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland in your brain. It is also found some edible plants. Melatonin affects circadian rhythms and promotes drowsiness. Some studies have found that melatonin is effective for preventing or reducing the symptoms of jet lag. This supplement should only be used for a short time period as it has adverse effects from long term use. Also, melatonin will cause you to be drowsy during the day, therefore counteracting the beneficial effects it has for jet lag.
Enada Co-E1
Enada Co-E1 increases the cellular production of ATP and facilitates dopamine synthesis, which means it may counteract the effects of jet lag on brain performance, mood, and sleepiness while boosting the immune system. Enada Co-E1 maintains homeostasis and aids in returning you to your built-in circadian rhythms. Research reveals that individuals who received Enada Co-E1 after an overnight flight across time zones performed significantly better on five of eight cognitive and psychomotor tests and experienced less sleepiness than those on the same flight who did not receive Enada Co-E1.
When researching supplements, it is important to remember that even if one claims to do what it says, it may not work in the end. Enada Co-E1 has a trusted brand for over 20 years, with numerous studies proving its effectiveness.

10 Ways to Stay Healthy During the Fall and Winter

Chillier weather is fast approaching.  This means flu, colds, staying inside more and just losing motivation to stay active.  I’m going to suggest some tips that will help prevent common illnesses and inspire a healthy and active season.   Most of these tips should be practiced year-round, but is extremely important during cold weather months when we are especially susceptible to getting sick.
  1. Exercise. Head to the gym to stay out of the cold and workout at least an hour, 3days a week. Bundle up and take walks or go for a hike. It’s important to get at least 15mins a day in of exercise.
    1. Find someone to work out with during the winter season. Having a partner is great for accountability and even for a little friendly competition.
    2. Try a new workout or find a class to join. Something new and different tends to create excitement and hold your interest longer.
    3. Warm up inside before a workout to get blood flowing to the muscles. Cold and stiff muscles are more prone to injury. Consider jumping jacks, a jog on the treadmill or cycling.
    4. Try Yoga or Pilates. Yoga is a great way to keep muscles limber and take a stress break. Pilates builds strong core muscles and can improve posture.
  2. Clothing. Wear the right clothes when exercising when it is cold out. Polypropylene provides great insulation but minimizes moisture loss. Gore-Tex is a fabric used widely for providing protection from the rain and wind.
  3. Healthy diet. Eat more Fruits and vegetables, with minimal amounts of organic meats. You need to keep your body in good shape with clean healthy foods.
    1. Carrots: A diet rich in beta-carotene (which is also found in bell peppers, kale, broccoli, sweet potatoes and squash) protects the lining of the nose, which traps germs before they can infect you.
    2. Green Tea: Stay warm and drink tea. Tea has interferon called L-theanine which fights viruses in the blood. Green or black tea is fine to drink.
    3. Nonfat Greek Yogurt: This has high amounts of probiotics and protein. Protein helps increase the number of immune cells in your body. Probiotics are healthy bacteria in the gut that keeps you free of disease causing germs. Eating yogurt or taking a probiotic supplement daily is recommended.
    4. Salmon: Fish is a great source of heart-strengthening omega-3 fatty acids. One serving also contains up to 1,000 IU of vitamin D; which helps stave off colds.
    5. Garlic: A compound called allicin fights against bacterial, viral and fungal infections; which in turn fight off colds, the flu and other illnesses.
  4. Meditate. Meditation will help lower stress levels to keep your immune system strong. All you need is a few minutes and a quiet corner.
  5. Sleep. Make sure you are getting enough sleep; at least 6-8 hours per night. If you’re running on fumes during the day your body’s immune system will begin to shut down, making you vulnerable to getting sick.
  6. Humidifier.  A humidifier will combat dry air and reduces your susceptibility to infections.
  7. Pop Astragalus. This immune booster supplement comes from a Chinese root. Take for at least 3 months out of the year for best results.  Suggest does is two 500mg capsules of dried astragalus root, three times a day.
  8. Don’t worry, be happy.Stress can impair your immune system while a positive attitude can boost your immune system.
  9. Get outside whenever there is sunlight. Vitamin D has been proven to boost serotonin levels putting you in a good mood.
  10. Already getting sick. If you feel like you are starting to get sick, there are ways to fight it off or at least lessen the length of time you are under the weather.
    1. Eliminate all dairy products.
    2. Eliminate all alcohol, this impedes your immune system.
    3. Eliminate all grains.
    4. Increase your intake of Zinc.
    5. Increase water consumption (even more than normal!).
    6. Eat less food as this will give your body a much needed rest from digestion and give it a chance to concentrate on fighting off potential invaders.
    7. Take herbs like Echinacea, Goldenseal and Grapefruit Seed Extract
    8. Get more rest than normal. Increase the recommended supplementation above
Hope these tips will help you and your families stay healthy during the colder months.

Anti-Aging Tips

Everyone wants to live a longer, fuller life, but the fountain of youth hasn’t been found or invented yet. In this blog, I’m going to explain three ways to help you feel and look younger; while helping you live longer.

Most people do not drink enough water. Water provides skin cells with hydration; this will lead to a softer, moister complexion with less wrinkle formation. Wrinkles are formed when the skin is dry, tight and flaky.  Drinking water will help detoxify your body. It removes unwanted wastes and toxins. Without plenty of water you can become unhealthy; leading to acne, constipation, urinary tract infections, and fatigue. The right amount of water for you to consume each day is different for everyone. Use this formula to calculate what is right for you: your weight in pounds divided by 2 will give you the amount in ounces of water to consume each day.

Eating certain foods will help provide anti-aging benefits. Pomegranates will give you softer skin. This fruit is high in vitamin C, which helps guard against over exposure to ultraviolet rays.  Sun damage, as most are aware, leads to wrinkles. Pomegranates also contain polyphenol compounds that fight free radicals, and a super nutrient that increases the preservation of collagen, to make your skin look smooth and plump.  Blueberries are full of antioxidants. This provides your skin with protection from free radicals, sun damage, emotional stress and over exercising. Spinach and Kale contain antioxidant compounds to help with sun damage. Also spinach is loaded with lutein and beta-carotene that improves skin's elasticity. Drinking green tea will help diminish the appearance of brown spots on your skin as you age. The tea contains catechins, which prevent sun damage, provide antioxidants that combat free radical damage, and reverse the effects of aging. Lastly using Olive oil for cooking will help your heart circulate your blood leaving your skin rosy and supple. This is because olive oil contains good fats that are high in Omega-3s.

Taking Enada NADH helps with anti-aging by protecting your cells from damage by toxic agents. It also promotes damaged cell and tissue repair, increases energy production in the cells, and extends the lifespan of cells, tissues and organs. Another benefit  is that when heart cells are incubated with Enada NADH, ATP concentration inside the heart cells increases. Since the heart cells have more ATP energy, they can function better and live longer with Enada NADH.

Start incorporating these tips little by little and you’ll start noticing the effects of looking younger and having more energy.

    Co-e1 NADA Supplements: Testimonial Tuesday!

Welcome to another Tuesday; we received an email from a new customer just yesterday, who began taking NADH for energy and found it cured another problem they were having! Read below to hear the story!

"In 2002, I was told that I had symptoms of Sjogren's, which includes severely dry eyes. When I wake up in the morning, before I can open my eyes I have to drown them in wetting solution then slowly and carefully pry them open to not damage my corneas.
6 weeks ago I started taking a 20 mg "Enada Mojo" sublingual, the only variation in my life that could account for a change in my condition. One recent morning I woke up, shocked that I simply opened my eyes because they were not glued shut. And a further surprise was that I didn't have to use eye drops throughout that day. Now, a week later my eyes are generally fine in the morning, which amazes me."

    Secretly Healthy!

With so many snacks in the world today it is hard to have the will power to always go with the healthy options. Don't be discouraged, it happens to everyone, but you can still win by modifying your recipes. Here are some tips on how to still eat what you love, but with a healthy twist that will secretly make them better for you and your family!

    1.Guac-KALE-mole!

You might have seen this popping up in whole foods stores and recipes online and we love it! All you need to do is take your favorite guacamole recipe and cut it in half so you don't have as big of a portion size. Then you take kale leaves, with stems removed, and finely chop about 3 leaves and add it into the guacamole, you wont even taste the difference and it is now packed with the amazing health benefits kale provides.

    2. Portobello Burgers

If you are a fan of mushrooms your are gonna love this one. If you have heard of or wanted to participate in the meatless Monday movement this is a great one! You put the same seasonings as you would a hamburger patty, and you grill it up just the same. The mushroom gets charred and juicy and delicious! Pile it high with veggies and goat cheese and you wont even notice there is no meat!

    3. No Mayo Tuna Salad

Tuna is a great lunch but it can also be a great snack. Next time you are wanting some dip or a tuna fish sandwich ditch the mayo. There are almost one hundred calories in ONE tablespoon of mayonnaise and most use a lot more than a tablespoon. Cut the calories by instead using mustard, balsamic vinegar, or plain Greek yogurt. Add pickles, chilies, tomatoes, onions and whatever else you like! Substitute the bread for rice or nut crackers and you have a protein packed, low calorie snack or lunch!

    4. Carrot Fries

These are great! You thinly slice carrots and season them just like you would a potato. Bake them at 425F for 10 min on each side. They come out crunchy and delicious just like fries, just serve with your favorite sauce.

    5. Zucchini and Chocolate

Did you know that zucchini and chocolate go together! Next time you are making chocolate cake or cupcakes add in about 3 cups of shredded zucchini. When you add zucchini to chocolate cake you can't even taste it, and it makes it so moist and dense! You can also substitute your oils and butters with apple sauce or avocado!

    6. Make it Mini

If you are going to make a dessert, like a cheese cake for example. Use low fat options and make them mini! Its all about portion control here, you can trick people into not eating as much as they would if they just had a slice.

7 Ways Laughter Really IS the best Medicine.

    Laugh Your Way Healthy

NADH, a naturally occurring coenzyme found in all living cells, is necessary for cellular development and energy production. NADH also helps Enhance mood and emotional balance

NADH enhances mood due to its important role in the development of dopamine and serotonin. Healthy levels of serotonin and dopamine support balanced mood levels.
Supplementing the diet with NADH may reduce the amounts of L-tryptophan used by the body for NADH production, thereby leaving more L-tryptophan for making serotonin. More balanced levels of serotonin promote mood enhancement, and an increased sense of well-being.

When your mood is enhanced it make laughing easier. Humor is infectious. When laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness and intimacy. Humor and laughter strengthen your immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain, and protect you from the damaging effects of stress. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easy to use.

    1. Laughing lowers blood pressure

Lowering your blood pressure, even those who start at normal levels, will reduce risk of strokes and heart attacks.

    2. Laughter dissolves distressing emotions

You can't feel anxious, angry or sad when you are laughing. It reduces stress and increases energy, enabling you to stay focused and accomplish more.

    3. Fun ab workout

One of the benefits of laughter is that it can help you with your abs. When you are laughing, the muscles in your stomach expand and contract, similar to when you intentionally exercise your abs. Meanwhile, the muscles you are not using to laugh are getting an opportunity to relax. Add laughter to your ab routine and make getting a toned tummy more enjoyable.

    4. Improves cardiac health

Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow. It gets your heart pumping and burns a similar amount of calories per hour as walking at a slow to moderate pace. So, laugh your heart into health.

    5. Boosts Immune system

When you laugh, you activate T cells that immediately begin to help you fight off sickness. Next time you feel a cold coming on, add chuckling to your illness prevention plan.T cells are specialized immune system cells just waiting in your body for activation.

    6. Triggers the release of endorphins

Endorphins are the body’s natural pain killers and feel good hormone. By laughing, you can release endorphins, which can help ease chronic pain and make you feel good all over.

    7. Produces a general sense of well-being

Laughter shifts perspective allowing people to see situations more realistic. can increase your overall sense of well-being. Doctors have found that people who have a positive outlook on life tend to fight diseases better than people who tend to be more negative. So smile, laugh and live longer!

    Hello National Pistachio Day!

    Happy National Pistachio Day

    February 26th 2014

Today is the a day for all to celebrate National Pistachio Day. With your Co-E1 energy supplements and these little guys you will have the energy to Crack them open and eat them up all day! Pistachios are more than just a little nut they pack a lot of flavor and health benefits!

Pistachios are an excellent source of vitamin B6, copper and manganese and a good source of protein, fiber, thiamin, and phosphorus.  In July 2003, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the first qualified health claim specific to nuts lowering the risk of heart disease:

    Heart Health
Pistachios have been shown to reduce LDL ("bad") cholesterol and increase the good HDL cholesterol after only a short period of regular consumption. High in antioxidants such as vitamins A and E, they fight inflammation, protecting blood vessels and reducing risk of heart disease.

    Diabetes Help
Eating pistachios may help to prevent Type 2 diabetes. 60 percent of the recommended daily value of the mineral phosphorous is contained in just one cup of pistachios. As well as breaking down proteins into amino acids, phosphorous aids glucose tolerance.

    Skin Health
Pistachios are a great source of vitamin E, a powerful fat-soluble antioxidant, essential for maintaining the integrity of cell membranes and often recommended for healthy and beautiful skin. Vitamin E does an excellent job protecting the skin from UV damage, providing daily defense against premature aging and skin cancer.

    Weight management
The fiber content of the nuts may make them more filling, helping people to eat fewer calories later on in the day.  A study published in the "Journal of the American College of Nutrition" in June 2010 found that participants who consumed 240 calories worth of pistachios for 12 weeks lowered their body mass indexes and triglyceride levels more than those who consumed 220 calories worth of pretzels.

    Nutrition
Pistachios contain fewer calories and more potassium and vitamin K per serving than other nuts. A 1-ounce serving of dry-roasted pistachios contains 160 calories, 6 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and 15 grams of fat, including only 2 grams of saturated fat. It also provides you with 25 percent of the daily value for vitamin B-6, 15 percent of the daily value for thiamine and phosphorus and 10 percent of the daily value for magnesium.

In the almost 30 days that I've been taking this product, my entire world has changed. I've been able to do what for me was all but unthinkable. ENADA provides me with a high level of energy that lasts from the time I take the supplements int he morning continuously until I fall asleep at night. I am able to sustain the level of peak performance throughout the day without having to drink even one cup of coffee!

The effect of ENADA has been so profound for me that I've been sharing it with all my friends and family ever since. Thank you for this incredible product and helping me to make such a tremendous difference in my life."

    Searching for Olympic level Energy

Chronic fatigue is one of the USA's most debilitating epidemics. Until now, there has been little in the way of a quick fix. Co-E1 NADH could be the cure thousands have been hoping for.

Enada supplements have been described  as 'human rocket fuel', it's an over-the- counter treatment for sufferers of fatigue that, restores energy and vitality quickly. The one-tablet-a-day supplement, taken at breakfast time, is a successful treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome, with one in three sufferers reporting improvements in their symptoms after 12 weeks.
Known as the power-pill, Co-E1 NADH 20mg is also being used by Olympic athletes to boost energy levels, and by highflier executives to overcome stress and exhaustion. Students are also taking the Co-E1 NADH 10mg pills, which work as a pre-exam energy-booster.

Sales of NADH are at record levels in America and are increasing in Britain, Europe and Asia too, either through the internet or in health-food shops. Birkmayer NADH is the manufacturer of the original Dr Birkmayer ENADA NADH brand and is the main internet supplier, lists a catalogue of beneficial affects: 'NADH energises the body and the brain, giving increased energy and mental activity,' would-be buyers are told.
The theory behind NADH - or nicotinamide adrenine dinucleotide hydride, whose active form is marketed as ENADA Co-E1 - is that it is a coenzyme found naturally in cells and plays a key role in energy production in those cells. It's also said to be a powerful antioxidant which protects the body from damage-causing free radicals involved in more than 80 degenerative disorders, including arthritis and heart disease. Much of the research centres on its use in treating patients with chronic fatigue syndrome.
Research carried out by immunologist Dr Joseph Bellanti found that eight out of 26 chronic fatigue syndrome sufferers achieved a 10% improvement in their symptoms. It is being suggested, too, that the supplement may be useful in treating other degenerative conditions, including Parkinson's disease.

    4. Have a party! Spend time with close friends. Studies show that in stressful situations a persons hear rate and blood pressure increase less when they are with someone who is close to them. You could all go out together.

    6. Volunteer! Research has linked volunteering to higher self-confidence, lower depression, and higher levels of happiness. It is a great way to not think about your self and help people.

    The Skinny on NADH!

So what exactly is NADH and how does it work? It is a naturally‐occurring compound found in all living cells of plants, animals, and humans. It is essential for adequate energy, and supplementation can improve energy levels.NADH has also been proved to act as an anti-aging nutrient, enhances memory, is the body’s top antioxidant, and can help with specific diseases such as Parkinson’s, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), depression, and Alzheimer’s disease. In summary, NADH is a highly powerful form of vitamin B3 commonly referred to as niacin or niacinamide.

NADH is present in our daily food sources. Animal protein sources, like meat, poultry, and fish, contain the highest amount of NADH. Vegetables, fruits, and other vegetarian food have a much lower NADH content. Plants need less energy to survive and no energy for movement, so they have less NADH. Therefore Vegetarians receive little NADH from their diets and should supplement with NADH. Many other people also can benefit from taking NADH supplements, though, for a few key reasons. First, almost all of the NADH we take in from food is destroyed from heat preparation. Second, even if our diets consisted mostly of raw meat or fish (which isn’t advisable), we would only receive a minimum of NADH from these food sources. Most of the NADH in these foods would be degraded by the stomach’s own digestive gastric acids that break down food into its constituent parts for absorption.

    Other health benefits:

It protects the liver from alcohol damage. NADH is actually the activator of the enzyme that degrades alcohol. This means that the more NADH you have in your liver, the faster alcohol is eliminated. NADH also prevents the alcohol‐induced inhibition of the sex hormone testosterone. Under the influence of alcohol, the production of the sex hormone testosterone is blocked. In other words, the more alcohol you consume, the lower your sex drive becomes. In the presence of NADH, this alcohol‐induced inhibition of testosterone production is diminished or absent.

NADH lowers cholesterol levels and blood pressure.

NADH enhances the immune system. NADH is directly involved in the cellular immune defense system. Special white blood cells, called macrophages, are responsible for direct elimination of foreign bodies such as bacteria, viruses, and molds. They literally capture these foreign bodies and then degrade and eliminate them. Large amounts of NADH are required for this process. Hence, the more NADH your body has available, the more protection your immune system can provide.

NADH may enhance a person’s memory. Memory is not a single function; rather, it’s composed of a system of multiple processes. Memory can be defined as the storage of information, signals, and stimuli received by our five senses and the retrieval of this stored information. Several studies have shown that dopamine and adrenaline production are naturally increased by NADH. Therefore, NADH can effectively enhance memory.

How does my energy depend on NADH? The billions of cells that form tissue and organs and ultimately the human body have an important assignment: to produce energy. NADH is part of every living cell. Inside each cell a process that creates ATP, which is what gives your body its energy. With more NADH it gives the cell the energy to create ATP which fuels your whole body

NADH also an “energyrich” compound. Energy is stored in the NADH molecule. When NADH reacts with the oxygen present in every cell, energy is produced in the form of ATP. NADH has triple the energy capacity of ATP. Furthermore, NADH creates additional energy when it reacts with oxygen and water forming nicotinamide (also known as vitamin B3) and ADP (adenosine diphosphate). This all means that NADH is a super energizer.
